Vision
The acronym TAG stands for Teens After God and perhaps Philippians 3:12-14 best states what TAG is all about: "Not that I have already obtained all of this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining to what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." The Apostle Paul said that his goal was to know Christ, to be like Christ, and to be all Christ had in mind for Him.
By the same token, that is the goal that we have for each youth that God puts in our pathway and that is what we try to model. We work on making our relationship with God personal and discover that Jesus wants to use our teens in this present hour. Our cry continues to be, "more of you Jesus and less of us!" Today's teens face worldly temptations/challenges like never before in the history of mankind and they need Jesus more than ever! Therefore, we must continue planting seeds by raising them up to be mighty warriors for God! After all, these young men and women are our future Christian leaders!
Furthermore, we provide a rock solid spiritual foundation for our youth to grow in Christ, through our Worship Team, Bible Clubs, and of course, the infallible Word of God! In addition, we participate in and organize interesting events that we hope will help build lasting friendships and keep our youth pressing towards the mark! Some of the events that we participate in are as follows:
- Acquire The Fire
- Battle Cry
- Kingdom Bound
- Short Term Mission Trips
- Community Events
- Superbowl Parties
- Various Overnight Events
- And Much More!
