Our daycare is monitored monthly for quality of programming and for the upkeep of the facility.  As long as we meet the agencies standards and qualifications, the United States Armed Forced Services will assist military families with daycare costs.  They will pay a portion of our fee and the parents are responsible for the balance.  Additionally, the daycare receives free materials/training and military families receive monetary assistance.  Our daycare has a loving/learning environment and has flexible hours for your convenience!

WHY DO WE DO WHAT WE DO?

          As a daycare, we like to offer age-appropriate and enriching activities for each child.  At FFD, we want to create an environment where children can learn and grow to be well-adjusted children and adults.  Because of this, we try to implement different activities into our daily routine.  These activities include: time to play as individuals, time to play as a group, a time to be loud, a time to be quiet, a time to move our large muscle groups, and a time to focus on our smaller muscle groups.  You may see us singing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" and think that we are just singing but with our hand movements, we are encouraging the development of the small muscles in our fingers that will one day help us type on the computer!  So, next time you see us doing an activity, know that there are many reasons why we chose to do it.

          To give you just a quick glimpse of some of our activities, the following is a shortened version of our FFD daily schedule.

• 8:30 AM: Breakfast
• 9:00 AM: Free Play
• 9:30 AM: Circle Time/Reading Time
• 10:00 AM: Morning Snack Time
• 11:30 AM: Group Free Play/Music Time
• 12:15 PM: Lunch
• 1:00 PM: Reading Time/Rest Time
• 3:30 OR 4:00 PM: Afternoon Snack
• 4:30 PM: Free Play/Free Art

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

           Due to the rising costs of maintaining our daycare, we regret to inform you that there will be a minimal increase for childcare beginning January 1, 2012.  We apologize for any inconvenience that this might have caused for our families.  Please contact our Daycare Director for rate increase.

           Please don't forget to daily read your children's Composition Book in their red pocket.  We enjoy sharing some of the day's happenings with you.  As always, please feel free to call me if you have any concerns or questions!  

          The state of New York requires that all children's shot records are up to date.  If you have not done so recently, please send us a copy of your child's latest shot records.  If your child is school-aged, you may disregard this.  Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter! 

          Bad Weather Policy Reminder:

          Should Watertown City School District be delayed 1 or 2 hours, or if they should close, Faith Fellowship Daycare will follow their schedule!  Staff will arrive at 7:30 AM, so please have a backup plan in place!  Thank you!
