Mark Curtis

Which way is the truth?  That is what I was longing to find out, as I became involved in several "counterfeits" in the late 1980's and early 1990's.  My search for the "meaning of life" included living a year at a Yoga Center.  It was in the Spring off1993, when I experienced the reality of Romans 10:9-10, while attending a Passion Play.  God took the veil away from my heart, as a "foghorn of joy" exploded inside of me, when Jesus came out of the tomb.  God instantly opened up my eyes at that moment, and I knew in my heart that Jesus really had risen, so I publicly confessed Him as my Lord and Savior on that day.  He immediately put His Spirit inside of me, and I became hungry for His Word, reading the Bible in its entirety in a relatively short period of time.  Since then, my life's journey in Christ has continued along the pathway, and I have found that Jesus is wonderful and faithful, despite my many failures.  Today, I am grateful that I finally know the truth, which can not be found in some type of philosophy or religion.  Indeed, the truth can only be found in Jesus Christ, who loves me, leads me, and lives in me.  Praise the mighty name of Jesus!  Hallelujah!
