I gave myself to Jesus when I was seventeen.  It was at a youth event called "Happening."  I was on fire for the Lord for several months but I soon found myself preferring to have fun with my friends.  There was so much in the world that was appealing to me but it was not in the Lord's will.  I struggled for many years, wavering back and forth between my faith and my own desires.  I had bought into all that the world had to offer me but at the ripe old age of twenty-seven, my life began to fall apart; I found myself in a failed marriage on the verge of divorce and my three year old daughter in the balance.  Thankfully, the Lord is faithful!  He showed me in a very difficult and painful manner that my way was not the way at all.  Consequently, I rededicated my life to the Lord that year and allowed HIM to determine what was best for me.  The Lord carried me through those miserable years and blessed me in so many ways.  He opened my eyes and I could see where He had been with me all along, calling me to Him.  His grace and mercy were and still are sufficient.  I have been on HIS journey and pathway for me ever since.  Praise the
