I was Born in Massena, NY and Lived in Chase Mills, NY until 1976. After, I moved to Antwerp, NY, where I was married to my wife Susan in 1977 and we raised two children together (Justin and Stacy). I came from a large family of four brothers and four sisters and we were raised Catholic. My family members enjoyed smoking, drinking alcohol, and hanging out in the bar. For the most part, that changed for me after I got married. I still enjoyed having a beer now and then at home but I gave up smoking after our son was born in 1979. In 1982, after our daughter was born, we started attending the First Free Methodist Church. We attended Bible studies and church services every week for a year or so. Later, I got a new job and that took up most of my time, as I had to work every Sunday and evenings. Consequently, I did not attend any church for several years, until we met some real nice people at the Watertown Hockey Association. They invited us to their small church one Sunday, the Standard Church and we felt right at home. The Pastor was a Godly woman, who lived for the Lord and we started to attend there regularly. My wife and I had a Salvation Bible Study with the Pastor every week for six weeks or so. At the end of the study, I gave my life to the Lord, after seeing my sin for what is was for the first time. That was the life changing experience that I so desperately needed! My life was radically changed on that day and my drinking came to a screeching halt. My friends would try to get me to drink but when I refused, they could see that I was a different person, a new creation in Christ. Soon after, my daughter Stacey met Katie Larkin at JCC and Katie invited her to Faith Fellowship Church. One Sunday, our family attended Faith Fellowship Church together and we have been serving Jesus there ever since. The Lord has blessed my life in so many ways and I am so grateful to Him. Nevertheless, I still have faced many trials and storms along the way but Jesus has been with me every step of the way! Thank you, Jesus!
