I grew up in a Christian home all my life. From a very young age, I understood that it was not enough to have Christian parents and that God wanted to have a personal relationship with me. That personal relationship was the only way that I could receive God's grace and forgiveness. Consequently, when I was seven years old, I attended a girls club ministry through the church that taught young girls how to follow Christ. One night, the leaders asked if anyone wanted to become a Christian and give their heart to the Lord. I went forward for prayer and asked God to come into my heart and forgive me of my sins. Even though I have made mistakes throughout my life, Jesus has been faithful to me ever since and loves me in spite of my shortcomings. Jesus is my hope, strength, joy, and life. Without Him, I am nothing!
