Paul LaBreck

I was born in Watertown, NY and have lived here all of my life.  As a child, I attended church at the Watertown Assembly of God and I gave my heart to the Lord at a very young age.  However, as I grew into a teenager, the temptations of the world became to much and I slowly pulled away from the Lord.  At the age of twenty-three, I got married to my wife (Rose) and we had baby girl together (Tiffany).  During those years, The Lord was good to me, even though I had gone my own way and wasn't serving Him.  It was nine years later, when I rededicated my life to the Lord and my wife surrendered her life to the Lord on that same night.  In 1992, I had some heart problems and had to make some changes in my life.  My deteriorating health condition was the driving force that eventually brought me to my volunteer position as Athletic Director at the Faith Fellowship Christian School, where I have been serving since 2000.  One of the most trying times in my life was when my wonderful wife Rose passed away from cancer but God was somehow able to get me through, along with my family and many good Christian friends.  However, prior to her passing, the Lord blessed us with our first Grandson and I was blessed with another grandson after Rose went on to be with the Lord.  Through every storm, the Lord has sustained me and I truly feel that I am a blessed man.  Being at Faith Fellowship makes me feel like I am a part of a large extended family with so many friends who love and care about me.  I have come to learn that you just can't serve Jesus in the good times and that He is the only one that can get you through the storms of life.   I am just so grateful to the Lord and in all things, I give thanks to Him, the Master and Creator of the universe.
