Jesus has had His eye on me from the beginning. He blessed me with a wonderful Christian upbringing that brought me to each church meeting that Faith Fellowship offered. I was a regular attendee of Sunday School, Children's Church, Girl's Club, and finally Youth Group, before I became an official member of Faith Fellowship Church. However, during that time, I attended church because my parents made me. They knew, even though I didn't care much, that training me in the Word and offering all the Christian support to me that they could, would help me know Jesus better. Regardless, Jesus had to become MY Lord, although during that time, He was my parent's God. Suddenly, during one Youth Group meeting, I felt the Lord tug on my heart and I knew He wouldn't let go until I took a stand for Him. So I boldly raised my hand to be counted in the Lamb's Book of Life and on that day, I became a Christian. Jesus became MY Lord and Savior, Amen! My parents, who made it a priority to get me involved in the church at such an early age, had an enormous influence on me growing up as a child. However, it was the Lord who prompted me to follow my parent's example and be one of the people to reach out to today's children. We can't forget that the Word says: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it" (Proverbs 22:6).
